Members from all the Flagler County Democratic groups marched in the Fourth of July Parade. A good time was had by all! Dems had a great turnout in our ranks and along the route.
Volunteers began arriving on an already sweltering day at 8:00 a.m. for the 10 a.m. parade start. Marchers included the newly-formed Flagler Beach Democratic Club, the Palm Coast Democratic Club, and the Democratic Women’s Club of Flagler County. The group members decorated the float that carried our Kicking Donkey. Two bedazzling convertibles, decked-out on red, white, and blue, led the Democratic marchers and the float. The Democratic Women’s Club anchored the group, and were happy to be followed by a group of jolly and boisterous pirates.
Thanks to all who came, marched and handed out candy on what was one of the hottest days of the year!
We proudly marched, showing our true colors – red, white, and especially blue!
