The Democratic Women’s Club of Flagler County

The Democratic Women’s Club of Flagler County (DWCFC) brings together Democratic women, helps develop and support qualified candidates for public office, and makes a difference in our community and at the legislative level through our commitment to progressive, Democratic values.

The Democratic Women’s Club of Flagler County meets on the second Saturday of each month, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., in Palm Coast, FL. We welcome all Democratic Flagler citizens to join us and become a member.

About Us

The Democratic Women’s Club of Florida, Inc. (DWCF) had its official beginning in 1956 although there had been individual Democratic women’s clubs in Florida for many years. In 1980, the DWCF joined the National Federation of Democratic Women. The DWCF now consists of nine regions in the state of Florida, representing over 50 clubs.

Our local Flagler Club, the Democratic Women’s Club of Flagler County, was founded in 1993. The DWCFC was organized to pool the talents and resources of Democratic women in Flagler County in order to build a strong political base. Its aim was to examine those issues that affect the lives of women locally, statewide, and nationally.  Our values are based on the ideals and principles of the DWCF as reflected in its platform.
